1. Ever played Defender? If you have you know the general premise of Guardian. You fly back and forth blasting down aliens and protecting your people from being abducted while the stunning backdrops and rocking music rush by in the background. Guardian builds on the Defender theme with things like invasions, where you are supporting ground troops as they attack the aliens (a nice change from trying save them all the time though you still have to be careful not to blast through your own men). The weapons are very cool with lasers and missiles providing some extra umph to your arsenal. I also thought the graphics were really sharp with fantastic explosions made even better by good sound effects and an excellent music score. One last thought by way of suggestion. The game starts you out with keyboard controls, but I found the mouse to be much easier. I strongly recommend going into options and changing to mouse controls before you start your first game! For anyone looking for a game that plays like an old-school classic, but looks as good as anything available today, you should definitely check Guardian out.

2. Another sci fi shutter, with good graphics and excelent rock music, but after two levels it results boring. Try the demo, I did it and decide play another game.
