1. This is the best Reflexive game ever played! It is a good combination of all shoot'em up games. I feeled like playing Super Stardust, Project X or Silk Worm series (masters of an era) on Amiga and Alien Stars doesn't fall short of them. It gives the kiss of life to the dead kind. I enjoyed it very, very much. I hope we can see a sequel in the future.

2. This game is excellent. Unfortunately it's very addictive as well when i started to dive fully into the game, i found that it was more challenging than i thought at first and i didn't rest until i completed the game which is a lot harder than you might think, i recommend buying this game!

3. Thats the best space shooter I and you, dear reader, will ever play! Although the first levels are quite challenging, you gotta have the complete version to experience what Alien Stars offers. And that impression I've come to just from playing 10 or so levels at a friends place! The sound is amazing for such a small game or for any game for that manner. Same goes for graphics and game play...

4. Alien Stars is an excellent vertical scrolling space shooter. The gameplay is simple: shoot everything in sight. You are given three different main weapons to choose from, with a unique powerup system. The weapon powerup will float around the screen and change colours every once in a while between red, green, and blue. If you pick one colour, you have to stay with it until your maximum weapon level, otherwise you'll go down to level one of the colour you picked up. So if you choose red, stay with red until you die, to put it simple. There are twelve missions, each with a unique scrolling background. You'll fight over planets, nebulae, and in one case, through a labyrinth made of asteroids. I find the game was pretty short, I beat most of it in one sitting. Three of the missions near the end are quite challenging, so that may extend the length for some, but I just wish it was longer. Thankfully, the developers made it pretty obvious there would be a sequel, thanks to the ending quotes. The sounds and graphics are well polished. Fans of the Star Defender series will recognize some of the enemies, as well as the explosions and sounds. There is a good deal of new content as well, however this game feels like a scrolling version of Star Defender. Which is not a bad thing, by any means. All in all, Alien Stars is an excellent shooter worthy of a place in any shooter fan's collection.
