1. Chess is a realy old Game, and not each time cool. Mostly, you have 2 colors of your figures, Black and White ... realy sleepy to wait for the Opponent to smash on his Clock for the Break.Now, WarChess is completly different! Wonderful Conversion of one of the oldest Games, huge Effects on each Battle. This Game is so much Fun, that you can lose with big Eyes and say "Wow, what a great Duel!".My Peronal Opinion is: The Price for this Game is a Present for every Chesslover!Personal Review of Requirements: Middleclass PC, if you want to play smoothly & great Graphics.Try before buy, you won't regret it!

3. Plays a mean game of chess on the harder difficulty settings, it's fast and fluid with some great graphics/animations, has decent music/sound effects. Options are plenty and it's well worth the download > trial > buy this game!

4. i love chess and this version of an old game is awesome beautiful graphics and sound . wish there was more chess games like this coming out or maybe a part 2 to this one great game thanks guys keep the good games coming

5. When I saw this title, I immediately thought about how much I loved the old Battlechess from Interplay which had fantastic animations. But I was somewhat disappointed with Warchess. It does have nice music, and a good chess engine, but I was hoping the battle animations would be much more interesting. Definitely try out the Trial Version if you are getting this for the animations.
